Anthony Lapati

Anthony was born on September 9th, 1909. He died at the age of 85 on October 16th, 1994.

Death Notes
- ANTHONY LAPATI, 85, formerly of Woonasquatucket Avenue, an employee of the William & Anderson Co. for eight years before retiring in 1979, died Sunday at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of the late Angela (Rao) Lapati.
  
  Born in Caserta, Italy, a son of the late Andrea and Josephine (Ferrara) Lapati, he came to this country in 1911, and lived in Providence and Coventry before moving to North Providence 23 years ago.
  
  Mr. Lapati was previously a foreman for the Grinnell Corp. for 35 years. He was a member of the International Machinists Union.
  
  He leaves a daughter, Joan Ladefian of Warwick; two sons, Andrew J. Lapati of Newtown, Conn., and Anthony W. Lapati of Johnston; two sisters, Leonora Tulli of North Providence, and Philomena DiCicco of South Barre, Mass.; a brother, Americo Lapati of North Providence; 14 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Marjorie Brady, and the brother of the late Carmino, Angelo, Edmond and John Lapati.
  
  The funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the Mariani Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Lawrence Church, Woonasquatucket Avenue. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
