    son Archie Gold to CMB 4/06:
    My Father, Morris Gold, was born in Russia, Dec 26, 1885 of Harris & Lena Gold (nee Goldberg).  My mother, Esther Gold (nee Esther Bulkin) was also born in Russia on Oct 15, 1894 of Wolf and Frieda Bulkin. My parents were married in Philadelphia on Nov 7, 1914. My father died in Philadelphia at the age of 67 in 1952. My mother died in Atlantic City on Feb 19, 1984.  Both parents were naturalized citizens.
    
    I was their 4th son.  Their first son, Paul, born in 1917, died of a brain tumor after being bedridden for ~16months, at the age of 26 in 1939 when I was then 13.  Their second born twins, Fredrick and Lawrence were born in 1917 and died during the 1918 Flu epidemic at the age of ~8 months.  None of us were given middle names.
    
    SSDI has 7 individuals named Morris GOLD with last residence in Philadelphia, with birth years from 1890 to 1919.

    Morris Gold worked for my father in his workroom.  He continued there
    until my mother sold the business a year after my father's death.  I
    don't know when he started.  [Note:  Jacob died in 1944.]

(note that Morris appears to be rounding his age up; his math doesn't match Esther's on the marriage year), and two children:  Paul 14 NY, and Arthur 3 yrs 10 months PA.  (Son Lawrence, who appears in 1920 census, not enumerated here.)

NY:  Paul 4, and Lawrence 1 yr and 1 month, plus brother-in-law, cloak manufacturer Morris BULKIN, can read/write, age 28 (est b yr 1891), b. Russia, f/m b. Russia, spoke Yiddish in home country, arrived in U.S. 1910, naturalized in 1912, able to speak English.  Immediate neighbors include (another brother-in-law) Jacob/Anna BULKIN.
