son Archie Gold to CMB 4/06: My Father, Morris Gold, was born in Russia, Dec 26, 1885 of Harris & Lena Gold (nee Goldberg). My mother, Esther Gold (nee Esther Bulkin) was also born in Russia on Oct 15, 1894 of Wolf and Frieda Bulkin. My parents were married in Philadelphia on Nov 7, 1914. My father died in Philadelphia at the age of 67 in 1952. My mother died in Atlantic City on Feb 19, 1984. Both parents were naturalized citizens.
I was their 4th son. Their first son, Paul, born in 1917, died of a brain tumor after being bedridden for ~16months, at the age of 26 in 1939 when I was then 13. Their second born twins, Fredrick and Lawrence were born in 1917 and died during the 1918 Flu epidemic at the age of ~8 months. None of us were given middle names.
