  Brewer, Mary A., 18-218, This is Mary Cusick, wife of Sam Brewer. She was his last wife. She was born in Marion County, Kentucky, when it was a part of Washington County.

  The will of the late Samuel Brewer of Barr township has been probated. It was made 27 December, 1886 and sined in the presence of James F. Brewer and William Kennedy. It appoints the former as executor. The will gives to the widow all of the personal property; Isabella Spalding, daughter, 40 acres of land; to the heirs of his daughters, Amanda, Elizabeth Ann Smith, Lucinda Robinson, Eliza Jane Eglin [sic] and his son, William Perry, fifty five acres of land. Two hundred dollars is bequeathed to Caroline Spaulding of Kentucky. There are also some minor bequeaths. [NMB] note: He is a son of James Brewer and Mary Yates. He married Ann Sims [sic] in Washington County, Kentucky 12 January 1824 and married Mary Ann Cusick in Marion County, Kentucky.
