Manhattan.
Picture Notes
According to the writing on the back of the pic this is Maggie Gordon (Bellingham) with the two William Bellinghams (and someone else) and Aunt Adeline, in America. But Al Luce says in email dated 091002, "Looking at this photo, the man and woman in the center (with the white
shirts) look like William James Bellingham (son of Thomas & Georgina
Bellingham of Culmore) and his wife, Annie McMullan. The child would then be
their son William, born circa 1914. This guess is based on copies of their
photos from their passport application made 1920 at Rochester, New York in
preparation for a visit to Northern Ireland. I base part of my guess on the
hairstyles of the couple and his height on the passport application of 5 ft
6 inches."
BUT - I think - Granny and granda, with baby Adeline and granny's brother, William Bellingham, behind to her left, and her cousin, also William Bellingham, taken in New York in 1909.
