Died of malignant tumour of the liver at 6 Quarry Place, Hamilton.

His mother is given as Mary Brewster, maiden name, Mary Boyd!!!!!!!!!!!!

His wife, Christina Brewster was PAD.

Aged 21 in 1866

She died of phthisis pulmonary after 18 months.  I think this is probably TB.

Aged 30 in 1901 census.  A search of the Civil Register of Births at Derry Family History Centre did not produce any Mary Brewsters born between 1864 and 1877 (or indeed any of my Brewsters.)  BUT, the 1911 census says she was aged 35 (= DoB of 1876) AND she was born in Scotland!!  Will now try to find my first Scottish data!  However, I suspect the previous age and therefore DoB are more correct.  Failed to find her in online Scottish Civil Records.

Now that I know her father was called Thomas, I have found her Civil Birth record at ScotlandsPeople.  The record even says she was born at 1030pm!

Probably buried in Ballylintagh graveyard under stone inscribed, "To the memory of the Brewster Family of Dromore".

Trevor Brewster, 080412, "Yes I recognise her [Mary Brewster]. Dad, James and I use to cycle to her cottage a couple of times each year and when I was a student I used to visit her in Marlborough Park Old Peoples’ Home, where she died."
