Gives her age as 45 in the first 1870 census, 40 in the second 1870 census and 55 in the 1880 census.

She gives herself as aged 27 when she arrives in New York on 13th June 1863 - DoB of 1826/5.

BB: Would this be Sarah McVickar Gray? Sarah S. Gray born 1831 and died Aug 2, 1901 in NYC. Anyway - in shoebox.  Turned out not to be because her husband was a widower when he died in 1892.

DoB from 1870 census, where she gives her age as 34.  In 1900 however, she gives her DoB as May 1838.

She is still alive in the 1910 census.
