  Source: 1910 census, Coddington Street, Ward 8, Yonkers, Westchester, New York, where he is the head of the household with his wife, Sarah (Gray), four children and his mother-in-law, Margaret Gray.  Next door, Sarah's sister, Mary Gray Barber is living with her husband and child.  And the Hardings are living just around the corner, also in Ward 8.
  
  In the 1900 Census, he was living as a lodger in the rooming house of a Margaret Gray, along with Margaret's daughter, Sadie.  The following year, he married Sadie.  He described himself as a merchant.
  
  By the 1930 Census, Charles Jnr is living in New York, Westchester, Yonkers, District 58, possessed of a house worth $1100, Head, 59, married 30 years, a master plumber, living with wife, Sarah, and children, Charles W, William H, John G, Theodore and Eunice G.  He is living next door to Mary barber and Walter Harding.
