Hugh holds Plots 6A & 6B, totaling almost 9 acres, with a house on Plot 6A
Edward Mackey Jun holds Plot 7 of 8/3/16 arps, which includes a house. There is a note beside his name saying "See also Part 10".
John Mackey shares Plot "8A,B" of 13/1/0 arps, with Edward Mackey, John living on Hse a on Plot 6A, Edward described as having a house too tho it does not show where. Edward also has a share of Plot 10 of 1/0/14 with an Edward Jnr, no houses on this plot.
In the GVRBs:
- Edward Mackey is scored out of Plots 8A&B and 10 to John Mackey in 1866 and John is then scored out of both Plots 8 and 10 to Reps in 1873.
- Reps is scored out to James Mackey in 1880. I am assuming this is John's son, James Mackey, 1859-1909.
- Plots 8A&B and 10 are combined in 1909 and one rood (0/1/0 arps) is hived off in 1913 with a note beside it saying "Land in dispute illegible" but James keeps all of the rest. This land, although it is given as one rood and 15 perches, appears to have gone to John McQuade on Plot 9.
- By the beginning of the next book, James Mackey has vanished and John Mackey holds Plots 8A&B and 10. There is also a note beside his name dated 1928 stating, "No change". I am assuming that this is James son, John Mackey, b1885. If Edward Mackey is my great great grandfather, as I suspect, that means that the land was last in the hands of a John Mackey in 1928. And since there is no evidence that this John mackey married, he may have been the last Mackey to hold the land almost 90 years ago.
