Studying the List closely, a pattern emerges and it is clear that whoever wrote the original list probably travelled around, writing the names down as he visited the houses, and made no attempt to change the order of the list of names which he wrote at a later date.  This seems apparent from the fact that some of the most prominent Camus names are to be found near the largest grouping of Gray names.  There are three Grays within 4 names: Js Gray, Jn Gray and Pat Gray.  And within a couple of lines are Camus names like Henry, Black, Kennedy.
