There is a James Brewster in Glenhall in the 1831 census, head of a household of 5 males and 4 females, living next door to a John Brewster (who has a servant), suggesting these two men shared a larger farm.
A James and a John Brewster, both of Glenhall, were appoined cess collectors in Glenhall by the Vestry Committee of St. Mary's Parish Church in Macosquin in circa 1807 (very circa as there was no date and this was the next date mentioned).
There is NO James Brewster in the Griffiths Valuation of 1858, nor in the Griffiths Valuation Revision Books - so they may have moved or emigrated. However, there IS a death for a James Brewster registered in Coleraine which fits.
