  I found some more on Edward Boyd and Margaret Usher who married in 1846 (see below).  HIs father is a THOMAS BOYD(Advance Search).  They also had a child named Sarah Boyd b in 1849 in Ireland who died in Ontario, Canada, age 86, unmarried (Beta). They also had a son name Samuel Boyd b 1856. I need to try and find a townland BUT who is this early THOMAS BOYD???

  I was sure Thomas Boyd was of Crosscanley Glebe but according to the church record on the Bann Valley site these Boyds were in someplace called Loughmeagh???  Maybe he was just working in Loughmeagh???
