THE WESTERN AUSTRALIAN CENTENARY. — A SCOTTISH GATHERING.
In connection with the centenary festivities in Western Australia Highland games were held at Perth, when there was a great gathering of Scots. In the above picture1 (reading from the left) are Rev. Geo. Tulloch (St. Andrew's Church), Mr. J. Munachen (secretary Caledonian Society, who secured the prize for best-dressed Highlander), Sir Wm. Campion (Governor of Western Australia), Lord Stonehaven (Governor-General), Mr. J. MacCallum Smith, M.L.A. (chief of the Scottish Union of W.A.), Mr. John Nicholson, M.L.C., and Mr. Wm. Christie (past chief of the Caledonian Society).
