Joanna Hawthorne Amick: I moved to Philadelphia in April, 2018 when my first grandson, Julian, was born. I retired from running the Brazelton Centre UK in late 2017 so this was ideal timing! I am so happy to be in the same country as my children at last. Julian is a delight and I babysit 3 days a week at the moment. Alexandra (36) has a busy job in Global Public Health which involves travel. Her husband Matt is job-hunting but has time to look after Julian too. Charles (33) and his wife Rachel live in San Francisco, but he visits frequently as he’s on the east coast or in Europe for business. Our 1965 class had such a great 50th reunion, we now meet every year, or more which is great fun. Please note my new address and telephone number as I shall be based in the USA for a while.
I plan to start teaching again when Julian is older.
