Mrs Gladys O. Towers
Mrs Gladys O. Ortlip Towers 87, formerly of 1515 E Market St., died at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Brethren Village Lancaster.
She was the wife of the late James K. Towers.
Mrs Towers was born in Norristown, a daughter of the late William H. and Carrie Miller Ortlip. She attended Parsons School of Design, New York City and was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church of Lancaster, and of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include:
A son — James K. Towers Jr., Lancaster.
A sister — Mildred Ortlip Keel, the Brethren Village Lancaster.
Four grandchildren.
Six great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be 10 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Everhart Funeral Home, East and East Market Streets.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home Her pastor the Rev. Ross S. McClintock will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
