Falkenberry-Kirczow Vows Are Exchanged In Selma

SELMA - Miss Rebecca Hinson Kirczow of Selma, daughter of Mrs. Dan H. Naile of Montgomery and the late Lt. (USAF) Roman C. Kirczow of Jersey City, N.J., and 2nd Lt. USA) John Croom Falkenberry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roswell L. Falkenberry of Selma, were married Aug. 27 in Church Street Methodist Church. Dr. George Kerlin performed the 5:30 p.m. ceremony, assisted by the Rev. T. Frank Mathews. Nuptial music was by Mrs. J. P. Haley Jr., organist.

Given in marriage by her cousin, Dr. William Hinson, the bride wore a gown of peau de soie with motifs of Alencon lace. Her bouffant veil of illusion fell from a forward headpiece of starched lace trimmed in seed pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of orchids.

Miss Rennie Falkenberry, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Louise White of Panama City, Fla.: Miss Lynn Spight of Demopolis; Miss Linda Dollar of Birmingham; Miss Dinny Vaughan, Miss Sue Hooper, Miss Anne Falkenberry, sister of the groom, all of Selma.

The attendants wore gowns of lemon yellow chiffon and gold lace with matching bouffant veils. They carried cascade bouquets of yellow and gold mums. Mr. Falkenberry served his son as best man. Groomsmen were C. Redding Pitt of Decatur; John B. Talley Jr. of Scottsboro; William M. Falkenberry of Birmingham; the Rev. James Curtis of Knoxville, Tenn.; Bibb Lamar, Troy Vaughan and George Falkenberry, brother of the groom, all of Selma.

A reception was held at Sturdivant Hall.

After a wedding trip, the couple will be at home in Knoxville, Tenn., where Lt. Falkenberry is stationed.
