KIRKLISTON RESIDENTER'S PASSING. - Mr James Johnstone, Main Street, Klrkliston, died In St. Michael's Hospital, Linlithgow, on Monday after a sbort illness. Born in Kirkhston, he was 81 years of age and had worked as a foreman shunter on the railway for 48 years before retiring in 1945. He returned to the village and stayed with his brother, caretaker at the Masonic Hall. He was unmarried, and the sympathy of the villagers goes out to his relatives in their sad bereavement.
