    Visited Renfrew in 1950's, sailed over, and flew home, leaving his wooden travelling trunk (too heavy to fly) - owned by David Douglas today.
    Took a taxi from Renfrew to Prestwick airport - cost around £50 - perhaps a year's wages for some! He was shocked.
