James McPherson

James was born in 1884 in Govan.¹ James' father was John McPherson and his mother was Margaret Rennie. His maternal grandparents were David Rennie and Agnes Miller. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Donald, David, Alexander, John, Margaret, Agnes and Mary. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
