  Mary Jane Culbertson
  Mary Jane was born on March 17th, 1819.  She died at the age of 29 on June 29th, 1848 in Brooke Co WV.  She was buried in Buffalo Cemetery.

    • The old Buffalo Cemetery,located about two miles southwest of Independence, just over the state line in West Virginia was established in 1795. It is one of the oldest cemeteries in the area and is kept in good condition. The date 1795 is carved on the stone steps at the entrance.
