Remembrance Williams

  • 768. WILLIAMS, (i) Remembrance Williams lived in Vir. on the Potomac
    river. He had three sons : John. Jesse and Garrett. In 18oo the
    family moved to Ohio, and later Remembrance moved to Jefferson, Ind.,
    where he died in 1840. Any information of him or his ancestors will be
    appreciated. (

    .He was married twice though...once to Eleanor Marshall daughter of John Marshall...had 6 children that I have listed...Jessie being one...(grandson of John Marshall )  John Williams 4/4/1883 d 4/06/1826, Jessie Williams b.1795 d 7/18/1866. Robert Williams b.1799, Garrett Williams b.unk, Margaret Williams b.unk, and Hannah Williams b.unk.
    
    2nd spouse Jane Owens another son John Williams b. 1818 (my belief other John Williams sickly---carring on grandfather Marshalls name..(money) I could imagine a marshall having influence even after daughter gone on former son-in-laws family... Robert Williams b. 1829 , Matilda b. 1830,  Jessie 1832, Ebenezer 1834, William 1837.
