    My cousin moved to Chicago, Ill from Sampson County, NC. Like I said we
    descend from Silas West, NC. I don't even know what county he was born in
    either. All I have seen in that he was born in NC. He had a brother name Benjamin
    West. Mother UNK.
    
    I have had the biggest problem finding my West family. The Barefoot family
    was a breeze because a lot of people were working on that family surname. We
    are related to James West, b. 1798, SC. I descend from James West b. 1725, son
    Willis West, Willis West's son, Lloyd West who we believe is Silas West's
    father. This is our brickwall, no proof, but their DNA match ours.
