    I'm not sure how if fits in your family tree since Marshall Lowrey didn't seem to connect to anyone, but I'd like to know how he came about to be in your tree.

    Marshall would be my ggg grandfather. He moved from Ohio to Michigan in 1852. His first two sons fought in the Civil War; Robert died and William was invalided. Elisabeth was his first wife. He married a Nancy and had more kids.

    Although, Marshall was born in PA around 1819, and Marshall and Elisabeth's first child was named Robert.
