    Jean Marie Marshall, age 87 of 517 Maryland Avenue, Erie died Sunday, January 29, 2006 at her daughter’s residence. Born in Erie on April 19, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Reider and Ruth Breece Heggedal. She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Class of 1936 and attended Huron Road Hospital School of Nursing, Cleveland, OH.
    She was employed by the Donaldson Convalescent Home as a nurse, and for many years in the Accounting Department of General Telephone Co. Mrs. Marshall was a member of The Church of the Holy Spirit and the General Telephone Pioneers. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading and playing cards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Marshall, and a sister, Muriel Heggedal. She is survived by two daughters; Judy White and her husband James of Erie; Kathy Glover and her husband Patrick of Erie, and nine grandchildren; Kelly Ogrodowczyk, Pamela Szukala, Kimberly Lane, Michelle Bennett, Dr. Patrick Glover, Jeanne Knouse, Christopher White, Scott White, and Amy Elwell. She is further survived by twenty-five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 3816 West Lake Road on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.n. and are invited to attend services at the Church of the Holy Spirit on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Kathleen Ziegenhine officiating.
