    Levi Shultz, b. 1822, d. 1892 married Mary J. Noel, b. 1824. As far as I know they were both from Arkansas. Their daughter, Martha Jennie Shultz married James Willis Marshall, b. 1847, d. 1920, but they divorced in 1869. That marriage produced my great-great grandfather, Henry Alford Marshall, b. 1867, d. 1948, who married Sarah Ann Waters, b. 1870, d. 1898. After her death he married Jenny Ross in Waldo, AR, divorced, married Cora Crumpler in AR, divorced, and married Rena Goss from AR. Anyone familiar with this line?

    my grandfather, William Henry Shultz, was from Arkansas and he did not live with his birth father. His mother died when he was very young....could he be related?

    My great-great grandfather was named James Willis Marshall. He was born in 1847 and died in 1920. He was married to a Martha Jennie Shultz. She was divorced from him in 1869. Her father's name was Levi Shultz, born 1822, and died 1892. He was married to Mary J. Noel. Do any of these names sound familiar? I do not know how they got to Arkansas, but they located in Columbia County there.

    One of my ancestors, Johan Martin Shultz, and his family made the journey to Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, from Pennsylvania sometime in 1764. They stayed in that area for some time, and Martin became a physician before going on to another area of North Carolina, which later became Tennessee. Descendents of Johan Martin joined a wagon train going to Arkansas around 1833.

    Hi Joann, I am trying to connect with the family of my Great-grandmother. Her name as far as my family knows was Belle. The History of Scotts Hill Tennessee shows that a Belle Shultz married my Great-grandfather John Benjamin Austin. The 1900 New Madrid Co. Mo.     The ancestsors of Johan who came to Arkansas with a large wagon train of pioneers were my Great G.G. grandparents, Kennison and Matilda Duff Shults(z). I have newspaper articles of their arrival and how they settled the area. Their daughter, Elizabeth Isabel, married Issac Alexander Jone. Would love to exchange info. I lived in the area that they settled until 8 years of age.

    Jerry, Sorry I've taken so long to get back to you. According to my records, there is no Bell Shultz listed.
    My Shultz family was in the Washington County, North Carolina (now Tennessee) region, then some of them moved
    on to Arkansas
