    Beverly June Ferris Crow is buried with her paternal grandparents and her father
    in Resthaven Cemetery, Polk, West Des Moines, Iowa. The same town where she and this writer were married 10 years earlier. She died of Cervical Cancer at the very young age of twenty eight .
    Beverly was the 4th daughter of Maurice Lee & Ruth Elsie Dyer Ferris. She was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Roosevelt High School and was ill with Rheumatic Fever and Chronic Asthma most of her teenage years.
    When I first met her she lived at the corner of 40th and Grand Ave. in Des Moines. We were married in November of 1954 in West Des Moines, Iowa by a justice of the peace with her sisters Nancy and Jeanne standing up with us.  We went from there to San Diego, Calif. where we started our family together.  Little did we know that after moving from place to place through the years that our lives together would all but come to an end in the same place 10 years later.
    
    We had four children in the short ten years we had together. She was a very pretty girl, had a real Irish temper and loved her children dearly. She is very much missed by all who knew her.
