    QUINCY, Ky., Sept. 24. -- The most horrible tragedy that ever occurred in Lewis County took place near the mouth of Kinniconick Creek to-day. Thomas Carr, a farmer, aged thirty years, cut the throats of his wife and his mother-in-law. Then he cut his own throat. His weapon was a large corn knife. [ END OF FIRST PARAGRAPH ]
