ROBERT DE LISLE, son and heir by 1st wife, married, by February 1239/40, Alice, daughter of Henry FITZGEROLD (died circa 1231), by Ermentrude TALBOT, and granddaughter of Henry FiTZGEROLD (died 1174-75), Chamberlain to Henry II. In 1260 he and his wife conveyed to Gerard de Lisle, their younger son (see LISLE of Kingston Lisle), her Mundford estate, and two years later Alice, as widow, confirmed the grant and released Gerard from payment of the rent of £10 which had been due to her late husband. She died in or before 1284.
