King Theodoric (The Brave) of the Visigoths I (Theodoric Balthas of Spain)

Theodoric, known as The Brave, was born in 0390.¹ The Brave's father was King Alaric of the Visigoths I and his mother was Galla Placida Rome. His paternal grandparents were King of the Visigoths Athanarich and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Theodosius I and Galla Valentiniana of Rome. He had a brother and a sister, named Walia and Basina. He was the oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Flavius and Justa. He died at the age of 61 on June 24th, 0451.¹
