According to tradition in various branches of the Norman family, Isaac Norman had a daughter Isabel. The following information is taken from "The Jones Family" in History of Patrick and Henry Counties:
"David Jones (1679) came from Wales and entered land where the city of Baltimore now stands. His grandson Joshua Jones married Isabel Norman."

Decatur Jones of this Jones family had a daughter, Kate, who married Joseph Morehead of Greensboro, N. C. Another Benjamin Jones had a daughter, Sallie, who married William H. Norman. In Will Book E., Culpeper County, is recorded the nuncupative will of Isabel Jones of June 28, 1803.

I have seen his name also as Isaac Jones.
Not sure which is correct.

Descendant of Phillip Jones, a founder of Baltimore.

Their son, James Jones, moved to Tennessee.  Thomas Jones moved to Georgia.  John Jones daughter, Sallie, married a Houston.  Sam Houston of Texas was a descendant.

Excerpt from the N. Carolina Norman book:

Enlisted in Culpeper "Minutemen" in July 1776.

He and Elizabeth moved to Rockingham Co., N.C. in 1790.  Rebuilt and operated the Troublesome Iron Works on Big Troublesome Creek for 2 years. Moved in 1792 to Henry Co., settling on what is today, Jone Creek ?, just N. of Martinsville.  Here he built a home and began a medical practice (learned his trade as an assistant to Dr. White, a Revolutionary War Army surgeon).  He was a personal friend of George Washington, who visited them when they were in Rockingham Co., VA.  Three of Benjamin's sons, George Washington, Bartlett, & Benjamin Churchill graduated from Jefferson Medical College, PA. and were doctors.  Ben lived to 91 years & Elizabeth lived to 100 years.
