‌James and Margarett "Mary" J were married in a religious ceremony on November 17th, 1846 in LaRue County, KY.  They had two sons and eight daughters, named Marshall S, Joshua, Mae, Martha, Jenetta, Janice W, Nancy R, Lucretia, Josephine and VA.
