Robert Stuart 
Robert was born about 1499 in Appin, Argyllshire, Scotland.1 Robert's father was 1st Baron Appin Dugald Stuart and his mother was Isabella MacDougall. His paternal grandparents were Lord of Lorn John Mourach Stuart and Janet MacLaren. He had two brothers named 2nd Baron Appin Sir Duncan and 3rd Baron Appin Sir Allen. He was the youngest of the three children.-
