  Benjamin Jr. obtained Oregon Donation Land Claims #1383 Mar 1855, signed by William R. Jones, John M. Morris & Benjamin DeSpain Sr. He claimed that he had entered OR 10 Oct 1852.
  
  Benjamin was married 5 Dec 1854 in Lane Co, OR to Susan Jones. She was the daughter of William R. Jones and Rachel Despain. Benjamin and Susan were 1st cousins, once removed.

  He died unmarried in 1894. Benjamin & Harriet were divorced in 1869 in Lane Co, OR, case #1430.  His Estate was settled in Umatilla County, Case #022-03.
