Mary Josephine Brown 
Mary Josephine was born on July 25th, 1876 in Guerneville, Sonoma County, California. Mary Josephine's father was Richmond Baker Brown and her mother was Susan Melinda Whiteman. Her maternal grandparents were David Waldo Whiteman and Martha Jane Bryant. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George Garland, James Richmond, John Stephen\Stevens, Charles Raymond, Henry Burdette, Susan Margaret, Martha Elvira and Ida Lee. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 94 on July 3rd, 1971 in Sebastopol, Sonoma County, California. She was buried in Sebastopol, Sonoma, California.General Notes
