Aylett Hartwell was born about 1834. Aylett Hartwell's father was Aylett Hartwell BUCKNER and his mother was Elizabeth Ann MOREHEAD. His maternal grandparents were Capt. Turner H. MOREHEAD Sr. and Mary Anne Hewitt HOOE. He had two brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Turner Hartswell, Simon Bolivar, Emily Morehead, Caroline Jane, Mary Elizabeth and Morelos Aylett. He was the youngest of the seven children.-
