‌Ziba and Charlotte were married in a religious ceremony.¹   They had four sons and five daughters, named Edmund Augustus Gifford, Charles Russell, Henry Douglas, Albert Phineas, Almira Strong, Harriet Charlotte, Augusta, Elizabeth Frances and Sarah Augusta.
