‌John and Mercy were married in a religious ceremony on November 16th, 1669 in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA.¹   They had eight sons and two daughters, named Moses, Benjamin, Joseph, Joshua, John, William, Isaac, Moses, Martha and Rebecca.
