‌Jean and Marie were married in a religious ceremony in Montreal, Province of Quebec, Canada.  They had a son and six daughters, named Etienne, Louise Therese, Suzanne, Marie Anne, Elisabeth, Jeanne Francoise Petit and Celeste Alberte.
