‌James and Ellen were married in a religious ceremony about 1578 in Llwyngwair, Pembroke, Wales.¹   They had ten sons and five daughters, named George, Richard, Owen, Sioned, Thomas, John, Hugh, William, Morgan, Robert, Mary, Jane, Ellen, Maud and Elizabeth.
