‌Barnabas and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on April 8th, 1756 in East Nottingham, Cecil County, Maryland.  They had five sons and three daughters, named Elias, Gideon, Jacob, Rueben, Isaac, Margaret, Mary and Sarah.
