‌Alford and Parzidia were married in a religious ceremony on October 25th, 1877 in Huntsville, Scott, Tennessee.¹   They had six sons and two daughters, named Andrew, James Henry, Edward, Lindsay, Luther, Fred Johnson, Bell M and Ida J.
