grandparents of Lois M. Laird.
!Family lore states that 2 other children were born between the years of 1746 &
1752 & died in infancy. No knowledge of the marriages of any of the above
children except that of JOHN MATHEWS KELLEY who married a Miss Greenbriar about
1766. All 11 ch. of James & Prudence (Logsdon) Kelley were baptized in the St.
Thomas Church at Owings Mills, MD. (from H. C. Logsdon's records). Additional
marriage info. has been added in 1981 by Ellen Currie Hill, East Montpelier,
VT. Additional - inf. on birthdataes of these ch. were also supplied by her;
copied from National Genealogical Quarterly, Jan. 1929. IGI files show the
father of James D. Kelley died 20 Jan 1764 Kent Co. MD, is probably JAMES
KELLEY b. 1 Feb 1694 & died Jan 20 1764 with wife Charity.
