Joseph was born on April 7th, 1815 in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England.¹   He died at the age of 66 on February 21st, 1882 in Harrowsmith, Frontenac Co. Ont.  He was buried in February 1882 in Harrowsmith, Frontenac Co. Ont.¹
