Basileios Batatzes

Basileios was born in 1153 in Nicaea, Bursa, , Turkey.  He died at the age of 40 in 1193 in Genoa, , , Italy.

‌Basileios and Theodora were married in a religious ceremony in 1189 in Constantinople, Constantinople, , Turkey.  They had a son named Isaak Dukas.
