‌Amos Leonard and Mary Polly were married in a religious ceremony on August 30th, 1834 in Hillsboro, Montgomery, Illinois, USA.¹   They had four sons and four daughters, named John Martin, William H, Amos H, Singleton H, Frances Sophia, Mary Elizabeth, Alice A and Susan Ada.
