‌Richard and Emma were married in a religious ceremony about 1045 in Avranches, Normandy, France.  They had two sons and nine daughters, named Hugh, Arnold, Judith (Le Goz), Helissende, Maud or Matilda, Isabel Lupus, Beatrice Goz, Nesta, Albreda, Maud and Isabel.
