‌John (D. F.) Washington and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony about 1760 in Virginia.  They had five sons and five daughters, named John Washington, Joshuah, Abner, Churchwell, Zachariah, Mary, Sarah, Jane, Frances and Nancy.
