John Evans 
John was born about 1853. John's father was Joseph Evans and his mother was Cynthia Perry Young. His paternal grandparents were Robert Evans and Sarah Hetty May. He had two brothers and a sister, named James Franklin, Willis Granbury and Matilda Jane. He was the youngest of the four children. He had seven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John, Evan, Robert, Edward, William, Joseph Jr., Jefferson C., Margaret Frances, Frances, Sarah Eloise and Amelia Millie.
