General Notes
Deposition by William Beck son of John, stated on Oct 20 1743 when age 47 that he heard his father John Beck say that his brother Edward Beck's bounded treee was a white oak, he recalled about 25 years earlier he was on board Capt Rock's ship in Worton Creek and he went down into the cabin and there being his uncle Edward Beck and John Green. Green said that Dr March told him that his uncle Edward Beck's bounded tree stood in the upper side of the road that led to Dr. March's and his uncle said it was on the lower side.
