Beatrix was declared the last living relative to the French Queen...(our tie to royalty) She inherited much wealth and property shortly after she married George.
There is a two hundred-year gap between Beatrix and the next in line, The Marchioness de Buscany (Buzancy) who died in 1357.
They had a son named Jacques.
