Mathew was born on July 23rd, 1811 in Ramsey or Maugho, I. of M. and his baptism took place on July 28th, 1811 in St. Marks Chapel, Parish of Malew, Isle of Mann, England. He died at the age of 78 on October 27th, 1889 in Salt Lake City, S-Lk, Ut. He was buried on October 30th, 1889 in Old Nephi Cemeta, Nephi, Juab County, Ut.General Notes
